WWII Signs

The Greatest Generation Exhibit at the History Center in St. Paul had these three posters as part of the collection. Certainly is a trip down memory lane.

  5. The first one really stands out for me. Some years ago our War Museum had an exhibit on propaganda posters from around the world. One of these seems familiar. It was probably part of the exhibit.

  7. I would really enjoy this exhibit. I was about 10 years too late for WWII, but i do remember the posters, the rationing, FDR's radio chats and my dad's 1941 Plymouth!

  9. Reading "No Ordinary Time" is certainly an eye-opener as regards what the U.S. did. Pretty amazing. I can't imagine people today giving up Starbucks and growing their own food.
