  3. I agree. You cannot have too many books. Well, you can, but who cares? Some you'll probably never read, but who knows? Others you may read again. Go for it. If I was up thataway I'd meet you there!

  4. I'll be with you. Love pawing through old books. When I get home, I just tell Elenka I'm upsizing. She rolls her eyes.

  6. When I moved to my new place, I had 14 boxes of books that I gave to a local charity that does a huge book sale once a year. I'm not sure how I accumulated so many books but, I looking at the shelves in my new place, I still have quite a lot that I couldn't part with.

  7. Books are invisible and they float where they are no one's way. ;-)

  8. You could hold a book swap at your home.....naw you would never let anyone out the door with your books!

  12. We have shelves packed with older books that we've resolved to thin down and give to the library for its book sales. I keep approaching, then retreating. And it hasn't helped that I also attend the book sales ($1 a bag! Who can resist?!).

  14. Downsizing books? Anathema! If I lived closer I'd be at the sale too.

  15. It's a wonderful habit to be addicted to books. But I have decided to let the libraries have them and store them and dust them and keep them healthy and crisp so I still have the ability to enjoy them.
