Escaping the harsh Minnesota winter, we spent months in Santa Fe, New Mexico, our favorite winter hideaway. Timing our arrival home at the beginning of April, this scene greeted us the first morning home!
oh, i'm sorry you had to come home to snow... it definitely held on harder this year. we're just now getting out from under it ourselves. i'm really enjoying the nicer weather and color that's sprouting out all around. have a great day~
Oh that's too bad, I live in Minnesota too, and trust me, I'm sure you've heard, you didn't miss a thing here! Too much winter every second of winter! ...and it's still trying to hang on!
EW! Not the nicest of April greetings!
ReplyDeleteNOOOOO! LOL.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you were met by that Kate....had I known, I'd have come up and used my blow drier on it!
ReplyDeletewhat a shock to your system! thanks for linking in - and for the chuckle. :)

ReplyDeleteGlad you managed the escape! Even so, it's not fun to return to snow, is it. :-)
ReplyDeleteIf I was hungry, I didn't think that BBQ is going fit the bill today but the fence looks good with snow on it!
ReplyDeleteThat is so crazy!

ReplyDeleteThat is so lovely. Beyond lovely, actually!
ReplyDeleteIt's certainly been a winter to remember. At least you managed to avoid the most of the it!
ReplyDeleteOld man winter seems to have had his own idea about welcoming you home.
ReplyDeleteNo escape it this year, was there?
ReplyDeleteThe snow just seems to keep returning! I hope it is all gone now! Have a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteI would say it was at least recognizable!
ReplyDeleteAt least you knew it wouldn't last long! It's pretty though.
ReplyDeleteBet you wished you had stayed an extra month.
ReplyDeleteIt seems winter had missed you and wanted to give you a welcome home sign and the fence was above the snow, kinda thoughtful of winter wasn't it?
ReplyDeleteWhat a greeting! Brrr....but at least you got a small taste of winter.
ReplyDeleteI really can't believe that! A totally amazing scene!!
