Visible voltage-ABC WEDNESDAY 'V'

I thought it was interesting to see how the heat from the holiday lights under the snow made a pattern on this perfect conical-shaped tree.

  2. That's just too much snow, and its not even winter yet. Beautiful picture though.

  3. It looks a bit more wintery there than it does here! Well, we don't have that much snow but I bet it's way colder here. ;)

  9. We saw the same sunken light look last week at Butchart Gardens. It made the snow glow. You certainly are getting your share of cold!

(BTW: Thanks for the Capote story recommendation. I read and enjoyed it yesterday (and had a good, nostalgic cry). DH is next in line for it.)

Reading comments. Guess there is a biography out on Truman Capote? Back in the day, when I was a stew. I flew a charter with the film crew doing the movie In Cold Blood to Kansas. I have a funny story about that. But! I am way off subject sorry!

  18. Interesting effect! btw I liked your poetry idea and your right on about the difficulty of finding appropriate material between unrealistic and brutal for that unit. My teaching partner (we taught a double credit English Social Studies high school Humanities class on the Holocaust) used some children's art from a KZ camp.

  19. Very creative V connection! I, too, like to see this on shrubs with lights.
