Theme Day, December 1, 2013 "Looking Out"

This photo was taken in 2007 of my granddaughter, Olivia, who was just 5-years-old.  When I brought the ceramic mask home for México and she first saw it, she excitedly said, "Put it on, Nana, put it on!!"  It didn't take long for Olivia to decide to do it herself.  "Looking out," I wonder what she thought?

"God hath given you one face, and you make yourselves another."  William Shakespeare

Today is the monthly theme for December.  Go here to see the many ways bloggers interpret the theme on City Daily Photos.

  1. There is something slightly scary about that mask. But with a darling granddaughter behind it I'm sure you felt safe. I'm wondering now where you friend F Scott is located. My favorite is of Mark Twain located behind the River Museum in Dubuque, Iowa. I use a photo of me talking books with him (naturally) on my other (book) blog Troutbirder II....:)
