NOT EXACTLY A FULL HOUSE!

On December 30th, 2010, I noticed a familiar scene on Jack's Hartford post when I visited our busy Apple store before I bought  my new iMac, (which incidentally is now occasionally frustrating me as I'm trying to learn the programs). A few days  later I was amused as I compared my after-holiday Apple store scene with his photo.  Check to see the difference between these photos and his on Jack's Post.

  2. I remember Jack's photo and the difference is clear. No Apple store here, except larger cities, only a corner in other shops.

I see a difference in the wall decorations. Is there more or what did I miss.

  4. It's probably because Minnesota is so much colder than Hartford...nobody can wear enough clothing to keep warm. Yes?

Our computers are all PC's but Apple has tempted me (sound familiar?)...unfortunately we have no Apple store here. The closest one is in Orlando, about an hour away...

Have a great day! And be careful, I can now see your pictures clearly! ;-)

  5. I haven't checked out my local Apple store lately. Those iPads must be flying off the shelves! I DO use an iMac, though. :)

  7. Your store looks a lot more like ours in Brattleboro. Jack is just a couple of hours down the road from here, but with a seriously denser demographic. Hartford must be the land of mac-mania judging by his shot.

  8. This looks like a much smaller store than the one here. OUrs is big and always full of people and I must add, plenty of staff!

  9. Yours is quite. Ours in Albuquerque is alot like Jack's. We were supposed to have a mild winter this year and it was supposed to be gone by now but the cold keeps coming and we had unexpected snow yesterday. Not alot but still.

  10. Hi, Kate. It is fun contrasting yours with mine. I suspect the reason is that my shot was during school vacation, with kids and parents taking time off, and you might have shot during a weekday with many Apple customers back in school or at work. Gee, I must have arrived to be on your blog!

  11. What a difference a day makes ... as the saying goes -:)

Hope you and Mac have a happy relationship! He and his siblings are my favorite friends.

  12. I like my old PC. You'd have a hard time converting me to Mac. :)

Best wishes to you and your family for the new year!

  13. What a calm looking store. The only Apple stores I've been in have looked much more like Jack's version.

  14. Interesting contrast. «Louis» went to the nearby Apple Store yesterday morning - he got there at opening time and there was already a line waiting to get in!
