ABC WEDNESDAY-"Z"

A ZILLION SPOTS/DOTS-ABC WEDNESDAY "Z"

Aren't these beautiful paintings?!

All of these paintings are by artist, Farida Hughes, on  exhibit
in the Harry M. Drake Gallery at
St Paul Academy and Summit School
(where I used to teach in the English department)

  3. Not my favorite kind of art and a bit repetitive, but I have seen much worse things in respectable museums...

  5. Stimulating shapes and colors on both a micro and macro level. Interesting also to see the varied comments above.

Paintings like these need a lot of space to be displayed, which is why I think people see them more often in museums or large public spaces than in people's homes.

  19. Hi Kate!

How's the weather? It was 32 here when I got up, which is illegal in Florida, but I don't whom to sue!

Re Chili's...everyone is different. We have two of them in Ocala. The one nearest our home was really awful for awhile, but they've recently changed management and now the food and the service is quite good. We go there about once a week.

One nice thing is that if you sit in the bar you get free, unlimited chips and salsa, and I do think Chili's chips are the best ever!
