ABC WEDNESDAY -"B"- BEST BUDDIES

I don't often post more than one photo for ABC WEDNESDAY,  but I couldn't resist today.  On Monday I spent some time and had a delightful chat with these two young women whom I taught when they were in 7th grade.  It has been fun watching them grow and mature.  It was also lots of fun reminiscing about the past and their shenanigans. Both of them have done great things with their professional and personal lives and have beautiful families.

  1. How wonderful, Kate. We should all go back and spend time with the teachers who had such a profound impact on us.

  6. It's nice to be able to meet your former students as adults. Glad they have grown up so well!

  7. I, too, love to see former students and find out what they're up to now. One of my first students is now in med school and another is studying psychology. One young man is going into the plumbing industry and another girl is married with her first baby! Have a great week,

  12. That's the joy of staying in the same place after your teaching career.

After our teaching days were over in South Florida, we would often run into former students...

But I don't think we've seen any up here in Ocala. Which, in some cases, may be a good thing! ;-)
