St. Paul Blizzard December 2010

This is my first photo on my new iMac, and I sure wish that I knew what the heck I'm doing. I wonder how this is going to turn out on the portal? If this works, I hope that I can duplicate it again tomorrow!!

For those of you who have asked, my medical recovery is going along quite well!  Yesterday my doctor said that my progress has EXCEEDED his expectation.  Can't drive yet, but I no longer have to wear the **^&!!%$#!** sling at home but need it when I go out so as to forestall anyone jostling me or slapping me on the shoulder. Freedom!!

  3. WELCOME BACK! It is a magnificent photograph on your new iMac. Please, in a couple of months, tell me how you like the iMac. Do you need to get all new software for it...I've got so many programs on the PC that I couldn't afford to buy them again for a new OS...

It sure enough does look wintry there! Yikes! A good time to stay home by the warm fireplace!

  4. Well, it worked just fine ... except for all that snow. Hope you're doing ok in this pre-Christmas weather! Whew! The Twin-Cities really got nailed!

    Enjoy your iMac -:)

  5. Hi, Kate!
I'm glad you're doing better. I had, at different times, surgery on both shoulders, and I would wear the sling out even after I was able to get around without it just as protection.

Regarding the snow . . . I am not a snow person, hence our retirement in Las Vegas. Yikes. Is this a little early for you guys, or do you usually get this much snow before Christmas?

Is this your first Mac? I'm a Mac-ophile, and all my technology - except for my phone - is Mac. You did great!

  6. So great to have you back! Judging from your photo, driving isn't such a great thing right now anyway so relax and enjoy. Congrats on the iMac. I hear wonderful things and with all the IT problems I deal with at work every day, I'm about to wish I could switch to MAC.

  10. Welcome back! We're still without snow here. It's actually making people a little crabby. It might be a brown Christmas.
