Construction seems to be everywhere! This seems like such a narrow lot for a building of this size; the rear alley view below reinforces the too-large dimension of this new condo building. The street is now open, but because the construction had forced the closing of a busy street, some neighbours were annoyed and motorist were impatient at the detours.

I bet you see this all summer. I was just complaining about street construction this last weekend. It was everywhere!
ReplyDeleteAt the very least property taxes should be discounted a bit for the inconvenience.
ReplyDeleteI have come across several blocked roads in the last few days. The problem seems to be going around.
ReplyDeleteNo one likes detours around construction sites. We have a road widening project going on between our town and one about 5 miles from here. It's supposed to be done this year but we'll see.
ReplyDeleteAnother "jam and cram." If it fits they will build it! (To answer your earlier question, our temps here have been very mild - in the 60s today. It's been in the 80s and even 90s in Seattle but we've had a lot of cooling from the ocean and even are getting regular fog. Absolutely NO complaint here!)
