Our neighborhood library not only has books to feed our minds, but it also has flowers lining the entrance that lift our spirit and our souls!

A flower garden is a bonus at the library. Maybe it puts people in a calm mood so that they are better able to keep quiet inside the library.
ReplyDeleteWow!
ReplyDeleteThis one would fit my lapel nicely. Love lavender too.
I may have a partial comment floating around somewhere--the screen abruptly changed as I typed! I have no idea and shall forge ahead.
ReplyDeleteI want you to know how much joy I get in thinking about these beautiful blossoms in conjunction with all that a local library has to offer.
Gorgeous dahlia! At least I think it's a dahlia.
ReplyDeleteI love libraries ... Though, like so many, I have been guilty of reading electronically...Let's hope they stay around.

ReplyDeleteThey would make me smile. The package arrived!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dahlia. I have not seen very many this year.
ReplyDeleteThe pink of the flower set at that green background made for a perfect combination.
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers! I guess the city must plant and take care of them, right?
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely sight to see when entering the library Kate..that's two pluses oui, books and flowers.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a beautiful blossom, Kate. Which library branch is "yours"?
ReplyDeleteHighland Park. . .wonderful staff with an upcoming community meeting re. the redesign of the library. Should be exciting; I'm one of their best customers. Merriam Park is also close so I feel that I really have two branch libraries plus borrowing privileges at St. Thomas on Summit and Cleveland. l'm rich in libraries!! And use them extensively.
