Clothes for Cuba-ABC WEDNESDAY Bonus Photo

"Cute" clothes for Cuba
 Practical   Easy to Pack
Ordered Black and White

Yes, I'm going to Cuba for Eight Days!
Leaving on October 13...Can't wait!!

Found these garments at the St. Paul Highland Art Fair, but they didn't have my size.  The artist is willing to make the skirt for me because it'll be easy to roll up in my suitcase and fun to wear.  I'll probably give it away when I leave.  We're bringing all kinds of humanitarian items (over-the-counter medicines, aspirin, children's
vitamins, toothbrushes and toothpaste samples my dentist will provide, sample shampoo and conditioner, and best of all...school supplies and books for children).  I am an expert at getting donations from commercial establishments!

You don't have to wear CAMOUFLAGE, for goodness sake! They've been brainwashing you - Cubans are quite friendly, so I'm told..

  2. Cuba will be a special experience. Just be careful. And have fun. And take some pictures. And if you find a dog named "Fiffy," bring her back. OK?

  5. What a great opportunity. It sounds wonderful. I hope you can take pictures, as it always appears so colorful, with such interesting old architecture and buildings. This is probably the same person I bought some things from a few years ago at an art fair, but I haven't found him again at the local fairs. Would you mind sending me his website or how I might reach him to place an order? You can email me at teresaevangeline@yahoo.com. Thanks, Kate!

  7. Oh, Kate, I wish I could tag along with you. I've always wanted to see Cuba ever since I was a little girl when one of my aunts, a horsewoman, went their annually with her horse, Honey Boy, to ride in a parade with the Cisco Kid and Pancho! That was another time in history, to say the least! I do hope you're allowed to take pictures. Please share with all the details all the wheres and whys for your trip!

    1. Since 2009 Cuba is opening up again...cultural, educational, and humanitarian groups can be licensed to visit. Check it out with a travel agency; I want to go there before the end of the Castro regime to try to experience it before it changes.
