Olivia is probably the cutest Ranger I've ever seen at a Federal monument! She gave us the introductory but brief history lesson/lecture at Fort Sumter after we got off the ferry and before we all left the area to explore more of the fort ourselves. Olivia is both well-trained and articulate.
Testing; I'm trying to figure out the new Blogger. Bah!
ReplyDeleteShe looks like she could be a good spokesperson. Just needs a furry animal to hold while talking.
ReplyDeleteGosh! She looks so young. Reminds me of Dorothy from the Land of Oz with those pigtails! Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteshe is a doll - and she rocks that uniform. :)
ReplyDeleteShe looks very much like my niece Kim.
ReplyDeleteGood for you to salute the youthful energy of the dedicated people who work in National Parks. The are so kind and helpful, and serving the public can be such a challenge.
ReplyDeleteThose braids really top off her wholesome appearance.
ReplyDeleteA new blogger? I haven't noticed any changes. Do you think they implement changes/problems on a regional basis? Sometimes when multiple people post that they're having problems I never seem to have those same problems but yet I'll have a different issue that nobody else seems to have.
Oh yes, very cute! You captured her well.
ReplyDeleteWe met another cute ranger when we camped at Denali several years ago. She looked a lot like yours.
Isn't it a treat to be greeted by a well-informed ranger? I still remember one who informed us at Chaco Canyon and there have been many others who were really worth their salt.
ReplyDeleteShe also looks really friendly!
ReplyDeleteI think Ft. Sumter is lucky to have hired her.
ReplyDeleteWonderful portrait.
ReplyDeleteAnd a beautiful smiling portrait !
ReplyDeleteYoung people are fabulous! Lovely shot kate.
ReplyDeleteMost beautiful ranger I've ever seen. Hm, she looks like one of those baking types, too.
