Baskets, Here and There

This beautiful basket was one of many sold at St. Kate's summer Art Fair. It will be interesting to see if any that I find in Santa Fe, New Mexico has similar features.

    What a fascinating basket. So unusual, so textured. I wonder if the basket maker makes only this type of basket or whether he/she experiments with form and materials regularly.

    I like! Very different and unique. Reminds me a bit of one of those swirled updo hairdos.
