Tomorrow I'll show you some of the wares that were for sale last Sunday outdoors on the beautiful St. Kate's campus. Every summer a juried show of textiles, pottery, glassware, visual arts, clothing and much more are displayed in white tents, all of which is anticipated and much admired by the community. If you get a little tired walking from the parking lot off Fairview Avenue, rest awhile...

j'aime bien le fléchage sur le sol ;)
ReplyDeleteYour own saint! Did you buy anything?
ReplyDeleteI like their use of the sidewalk, clever.
ReplyDeleteI love these shows.
ReplyDeleteNo, I did not buy anything since I'm desperately trying to downsize...hard to do. Yes, St. Kate's was most definitely named for me and it's special since our backyard borders the campus....lovely vistas. My children had great fun when they were small, jumping the fence and playing on the campus, esp the pond with turtles and ducks. Plus, it's a good school, too (St. Catherine's, fondly referred to as St. Kate's in my honour, of course.)
ReplyDeleteHOW DID WE MISS THAT ART FAIR?! Gee, that's my favorite art fair of the season! We could have stopped there after Gloria Dei and Brewberrys...
ReplyDeleteThat is a great tease! I will be eager to see what you found. See you tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteFunny! I like all the sidewalk advertising. :)
ReplyDeleteA campus named after you? But - here comes the stickler - the "B" in beautiful" should be capitalised, no?
ReplyDeleteI like art fairs. They don't have them around here like they used to. I guess it is the times we live in. There are a lot of people selling stuff at garage and yard sales.
