  4. I was amazed to discover that there are folks that collect barbed wire. I featured a barbed wire fence today too. I tried identifying the age of my barbed wire from a chart...No luck.

  7. I think there should be more barbed wire fences in need of repair.

    In Costa RIca, farmers plant trees in a row around their pastures and string the barbed wire from tree to tree. They call them living fences.
