Monday Night Before the Inauguration

I got all these photos from CNN on Monday night while watching television. If it had been possible, I would have liked to have been in DC with the rest of the well-wishers; instead I'll be watching the Inauguration from the warmth and security of my own home. What an exciting time, though!

  2. At last the day has arrived. A wonderful man, intelligent, calm, thoughtful, charismatic. Change and hope have come to America and so to all of us.

Enjoy your television. I'll be watching here.

  3. I would have braved the crowds to be there also. I can settle being able to watch at work.

  4. I bet there is so much energy in DC right now, but I'll have to watch from home as well. At least I'm sure I'll have a better view!

  10. I would have loved to be there as well, no matter how cold it is - we're used to dressing in layers, right? It was an amazing day, whether taking part or watching on TV from afar.
