New Exhibit

The Science Museum of Minnesota is a wonderful facility with exhibits, films, and activities that are both entertaining and instructive. I haven't seen this one yet but I intend to go before the RNC hits town. Some of the facilities in this building will be reserved for large groups of Republicans to meet and greet...good time to stay away because of the crowds. Had to laugh, tho, when I thought about Republicans and "Star Wars."

  3. May the Force be with them - or not - according to one's politics!

Kate I left an answer on Menton but briefly there are pebble beaches and sandy beaches. Private ones are sandy and the biggest public beach is also sand. The one I showed today is nearer to Roquebrune, narrow and rocky.

  4. Hi from South Shields, nice picture you have here today Kate, C3PO.

I need your support, see my latest post at South Shields Daily Photo

Photographers rights in the UK and worldwide are under increasing threat and we need to make a stand now!

Unless something changes dramatically, this will be the last ever post at South Shields Daily Photo.

  5. I wish I were there I'd definitely be booking to see this, the film not the politicians!
Is it on one of those huge screens?

  6. Maybe C3P0 is to draw in the kids. Oh, politicians and kids, no difference.

  7. Maybe Jurassic Park could be a good movie too for the republicans.

  9. From the description on the museum's website (http://www.smm.org/starwars/), this sounds like the exhibit I saw at the Smithsonian several years ago, with the addition of props and other materials from the three more recent films. Definitely worth attending!

Angela~ The exhibit I saw (and this sounds exactly like it) opened with a short film about the movies, which included cast/crew interviews, then you were turned loose in an exhibit consisting of movie props, costumes, sketches and models. It was phenomenal!

I love science museums...must be the old 8th grade science teacher in me. You are going to have such a circus when the Republicans come to town..but it will probably be a big money maker for the city.
