I never realized how difficult it is to capture an airplane in flight; I have lots to learn!! For three other attempts with partial success in capturing NWA in flight over my house, click to see them on my ExtraExtra blog.
j'adore cette chanson, surtout la version de Sinatra avec le count basie orchestra. belle photo, car tu as raison pas facile de prendre un avion en vol. je te souhaite un bon weekend
I adore this song, especially the version of Sinatra with the count basy orchestrated. beautiful photograph, because you are right not easy to take a plane in vol. I wish you a good weekend
Actually this is a good shot. I do agree it is not exactly "easy" to capture an airplane in flight. Most of what I shoot of airplanes are almost always directly overhead and that limits what can be seen. I like your shot because it exposes the sides of the plane.
Thanks too, Kate, for your comments on my blog today.
I see you standing there at the ready. *smile* I can appreciate the effort that went into it, I was trying to get a got shot at horses with carriages (Fiakers, as they are being called here in Vienna) driving by Starbucks, and it took me about 2 dozen tries until I got all the parts I wanted to captures. ;-)
Kate, GMTA. Just the other day I was in the airport vicinity and saw many "close encounters" slip away from me... I didn't have my camera with me. Glad you managed to capture this.
I guess the third time is the charm. I think its a great shot. I would love to be flying someplace. I have wanderlust.

Awesome photo! After looking at the extra photos, I understand what you mean.
ReplyDeleteMoving objects are harder to shoot than stationary ones.
Kate, still thinking of you at this very difficult time.
ReplyDeleteI love your photo. I'd love to be in it flying somewhere.
What a sky! Kate, maybe would you want to see my door today?
ReplyDeleteI tried to see your other shots, but the link did not work for me.
ReplyDeleteAnyhow, this one is really good! (I never tried, but I can imagine the difficulty.)

Can't begin to imagine how difficult it must be to photograph an airplane. This is a good shot.
ReplyDeleteGreat catch, Kate!
ReplyDeleteNice to have you back, where you belong ;-)
Great capture Kate. I know how difficult it is to capture a moving object but you did it :)

WHAT DID YOU SAY?!!!
ReplyDeleteI love how it's framed by the trees. I liked the "try" shots too.
ReplyDeleteAmazing photo, Kate! Beautiful the blue sky, the green and the airplane in the middle! I went to see the others pictures and I like too.
ReplyDeleteHey Kate! Snap!
ReplyDeleteI had a similar photo in my collection - and posted it here. Have a look!
