This is part of the new renovation at Como Park Zoo. The sloth that was in yesterday's photograph lives in this building.
Today in Minnesota History: 1850- Aaron Goodrich, Minnesota Territory's first supreme court justice, is accused of adultery. An effort to impeach him fails, but President Millard Fillmore exercises his executive power to remove Goodrich from office in 1851. (Reference: MNSH.ORG)

It's the louvre!
ReplyDeleteThe day's history: wow. We would have no one to serve office if adultery were ILLEGAL again! Considering that roughly 80% of men and 65% (I think, not sure of of women...why would I care about them since I am one...lol) have admitted to it! Very interesting.
i'd like to go there, the zoo in Tuzla is tiny and there’re no exotic animals like you have.
ReplyDeleteI hope those sloths know not to throw stones. I'm thinking about that lesson about glass houses and all that?
ReplyDeleteOoo, I love glass buildings. It must be nice inside.
ReplyDeleteThanks for telling me about the peace poles in St. Paul, that's interesting. And how great that you are going to integrate the prayer into your family life! I love that.
surprenante architecture, j'aime beaucoup, cela me fait penser a la place aux miroirs à Evry. Tres belle photo.
ReplyDeletesurprising architecture, I like much, that makes me think of the place with the mirrors with Evry. Very beautiful photograph.

When I saw the picture, i thought just like Susan, it must be some kind of Art Museum :) Wrong!!
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of glass is it. Can animals see through it. It could make them nervous, if they see everything from outside??
But very fine building, indeed!
What a neat place for the sloth to live. The lighting must be wonderful for all the animals in the glass building.
ReplyDeleteI'll have to go back to photograph a bit more because the newest addition to the zoo has more, much more. If I recall correctly, Mimmu, the animals are in the inner part of the glass building with some of the outer windows almost completely covered with green luscious plants.
ReplyDeleteLucky sloths - it's a lot nicer house than the one I live in!
ReplyDeletewoo! I have not been to the new stuff at the zoo. My kids need me to take them there soon....but it probably wont be till the weather warms again.
ReplyDeleteSurely they didn't know sloth when they designed such modern zoo.-)
