Gone, All Gone!

Much to my delight, these have disappeared from rooftops and gutters. But, I wish I were still in Mazatlán!

  5. Well, the absence of snow and ice doth not Mazatlan make! Unfortunately, you'll have to bear up just a little bit longer. And as I recall the month of April can bring not just rain showers but snow showers. In fact, I recall snow in May. So do not make hay yet. Of course, you could put up a "For Sale" sign in your front yard and spend some time in Mexico looking for your own wee piece of paradise? Oui? No, that's too much trouble. I couldn't move again to save my life. And Minnesota has its own charms. I love Minnesota and would have no problem living there except I can't handle the cold anymore. But the Twin Cities are two jewels in the crown of this country. So, patience, my dear. Your time is coming! 😇

  9. Isn't that the truth? There's nothing like home but sometimes the soul still longs for that other place.
