Animals on Display #2

Last Thursday,  I posted two photos of animals that were enclosed in a makeshift holding fence at a busy shopping area in Highland Park so children and adults could enjoy the animals seldom seen in this place.  The two young Alpacas looked warm and fluffy and were the center of attention for the smaller youngsters enjoying this special holiday treat for shoppers.

  4. We have an alpaca farm in Ocala and have visited there several times. By and large, they are great fun, but once in awhile they can get a bit nasty. They are not raised for meat but for their "fur," which makes beautiful articles of clothing or accessories such as scarves.

  5. Cute. It looks like the little 'muzzle' might be a recycled small dog harness.
