Large glass sculptures

Green Serenade
21"x 23" x 80"

Yesterday I showed you several glass masks made by Peter Zelle.  This is one of his large sculptures.  Click here to see more of his other large pieces. Those photographs, taken by a professional photographer, do not have shadows as mine does and will give you a better idea of the beauty of his work.

  1. Love those glass sculptures and the way they use colours.

  2. I guess beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. Sorry, Kate, this is just plain ugly to me. :)

  3. Oh gosh, I love these. I'd have a hard time choosing one but, I'm sure I could come to a decision.

  4. You can't really compare your photo with the pro's. They were free-standing and so gained feeling of depth from that. Your are more close-up and the slight shadow gives it the depth it needs here. Otherwise it would look like it was hanging on the wall :-)

  5. Not quite my taste in art, but very eye catching.

  6. I found one at his site that I especially like. I don't think Santa's going to bring it, though...back to blowing on dandelions.
