The Weisman Art Museum #2

Both of these pieces of art by American artist Charles Biederman are painted aluminum. The predominantly red piece is entitled "#4, Diaz" and the other is called #27, Giverny."

  1. I like the clarity of the colors, but the compositions don't do anything for me. Sorry. Some other viewers will enthuse about them.

  2. Sometimes this type of art can change colors as you walk past it if the edges of the ribs are painted in different colors. i very much like a piece like that in the Hirshhorn Museum in Washington by an Israeli artist whose name escapes me.
