la premiere photo est superbe
I have enjoyed concerts like this (many years ago) ... looks like great fun. Re your comment about Cedar Key: If you are really interested, I could check on some prices of rental units...but unless you really like to fish, there isn't much to do in Cedar Key ... you can pretty much check out the entire island in a couple of days. One thing you can do is lay about and relax!
there is something so extraordinary about the vibration created when human voices join in harmonic song.
Wonderful post. Julie and I love gospel music. For those who do not venture into churches were gospel is performed, there is a great Sunday Harlem Gospel tour. The House of Blues also has a good Sunday gospel brunch. There is gospel in the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, where the population includes people whose ancestors came from Jamaica.
Oh, I am so glad you enjoyed it!
... And terrific portrait on top!
Robust and lively Southern Gospel, it lifts the Spirit and Soul!
I love to hear someone sing with feeling. A whole choir of such singers is wonderful!
I can tell they really enjoy singing too!
Looks like a musical treat!
I would enjoy that too. You got some nice shots of the singers,
Very interesting and well documented!
And all are certainly dressed in their Sunday best! I love good gospel music delivered with soul.
I adore choral music. All forms: modern, spiritual, gospel and classical. Preferably unaccompanied because the effort has to go into the SATB arrangement.
I'm sure this was great! I love gospel music when you can see it live. :)
These are filled with the feeling the singers must have conveyed! I love how they all fit together.
Thanks for visiting my blog; I appreciate it! Come back often!!
