Rainbow Condos



A week ago a friend and I took a paddleboat down the Mississippi River, enjoying the trees and foliage along the bank with an occasional sight of manmade structures: bridges and buildings along the way.  On Shepard Road in Saint Paul, the row of condos in varied shade of white, grey, yellow and orange reminded me of Rainbow Row in Charleston, SC.  Architecturally unlike and very dissimilar, the colors in both cities are pleasing to the eye.

    Glad you could enjoy the river. Have a friend with a cabin along the Missouri River in Omaha which has been flooded twice in the past two years. Even though it is on stilts it has suffered damage. Amazing high water this year.
