Auger Solves the Problem

The auger drills into the frozen ground without a problem in order to prepare the ground for a new utility pole in a different position than the pole being replaced. Just look at the size of that auger!! It was an amazing procedure to watch.

  1. I'm not going to argue with that auger! I'm not even going to get angry at the auger. I'll let the auger be an auger. And it looks like it's doing a pretty good job. That's not a word you hear much in normal conversation, auger. "How's your auger doing, my friend? My auger went on the fritz and I had to take it to the auger store. But they said there was nothing wrong with it so argued and then took my auger back."

I like the way you decided to cut WW's hair. She deserves your special attention and some of those cutters are real jerks. The mobile people did our Golden, though, and she loved them. But she loved everybody and she loved baths.

Stay warm. Going to be 84 here today.

  3. I have long admired the work ethic of utility workers, who are out there doing things like replacing damaged poles while the rest of us are comfortable inside.

  7. Looks like Paul knew what he was talking about Kate ☺ I take my hat off to the emergency crews that brave every kind of weather to make our lives more comfortable, in my case that usually applies to extreme heat conditions as opposed to snow.
