Another Lovely Winter Image

The way the bark has separated from the trunk is very appealing.
Since the weather has warmed up a bit during the last few days, Wild Wendy and I do not hurry home after just a few blocks during our morning walks.  We take our time and notice our surroundings again!

  3. Well, you and WW were out walking. I thought I heard a loud "bark"! It was very "a-peal-ling."

  7. Very pretty, Kate. It so thin, it looks like paper. Glad you and WW are enjoying longer walks. Walking in the cold, it's quiet and peaceful and you can hear the crunch of the snow as you walk. Have a nice weekend!

  8. Still too cold for peeling off the outer layers, whatever the tree thinks.
