Well Shod

While waiting to be seated outside my favourite restaurant last Saturday, I watched the arrival of four young women, and I amused myself by taking stealth photos of their footwear.

  1. Nice one. I would be afraid to take photos like this. I think people would misinterpret my intentions. Just stating a fact.

The 2nd and the 4th are my favorites.

  5. Ooo la la! Having said that, which was my first reaction, I must also say this footwear looks more like an instrument of torture than something to protect one's feet! :)

  8. I used to wear shoes like that...back when I was young and foolish. Perhaps why I've had to have foot surgery.

  11. I had to smile Kate, I do this too. Only yesterday in fact. This young lady walked by in satiny green high heeled shoes. Back in the day I had bought a pair very similar, paid far more than I could afford but I loved them. I am more sensible now. I wear flatties. Yes, good sense finally kicked in :)

  12. Not something I'd wear through the subways of Berlin. But if you're driving (or being driven), why not?

  13. How nice you made these photos, those are so terrible high heels, how can they walk...

  14. They look murderous to walk on.

  15. I don't think I ever wore them that high or skinny-heeled. Now days I see them as torture.
