Fresh Veggies

Yesterday I went to a new small outdoor Minneapolis Farmers Market and loved what I saw!

  1. Oh boy, I'd love these things, too. It's hard to beat a Minnesota farmer's market. Re your questions: The Baptist churches you have in the Twin Cities may be somewhat conservative but they're nothing like our Southern Baptist and Independent Baptist churches which have become essentially sponsors of the Republican Party. The Villages in a huge complex of homes and now there are three "hometowns" which are really "downtown" areas, all of which have a bunch of stores and restaurants and a central common area with a stage because each of these hometowns offer music and dancing 365 evenings of every year (weather permitting). It's like nothing you've ever seen. It is a Disneyland for adults.

  4. Fresh produce is so difficult to come by here. That is a feast for my eyes. Wow though those tomatoes are pricey.
