Franklin Avenue Bridge

The underside of the Franklin Avenue bridge over the Mississippi.  From this angle the river looks narrow, but the view is deceptive since it is much wider here than it looks.

    1. You're right; it's just below the U of MN campus. I've never been there myself so I didn't comment. I think I should try it out and then do some photography while there.

  4. It does look like the river is narrow there. Always fun to get a glimpse of the mighty Mississippi.

  5. Nicely composed, Kate! Yeah, I don't know anyplace in the Twin Cities where Ol' Miss could be said to be a narrow river!

  11. Handsome bridge! And the river actually looks fairly placid. The walkway looks appealing if you're up for a walk.
