Holiday Traffic-mini roadtrip
I adore road trips so Saturday we went on a mini road trip, following the Mississippi River south on the Wisconsin side down through small towns and villages in a very scenic valley. My DH spotted two Corvettes behind us and slowed down so we could get a look at both of them as they passed us. Very scenic indeed!

Wow. Great cars indeed and worth to shoot them.
ReplyDeleteune corvette, voiture de reve, j'adore
ReplyDeleteGreat car, funny 'torched' personalized plate on the first one.
ReplyDeletenice, we took a road trip up to lake texoma, great to get away from the house.
ReplyDeleteAuthentic Americana. Lots of wonderful roads to trip on in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Some wonderful bike trails, too. Guess we're gonna have to wend our way back up there next summer...
ReplyDeleteTop down, radio on...what's not to like?
ReplyDeleteVery nice but I think I would prefer a convertable Mini! Hope you had an enjoyable road trip. Yes it's back to work now, so sad.
ReplyDeleteNow that is a fun way to take a road trip!
ReplyDeleteA red Corvette such as the one in your top photo does not need a vanity plate to get attention.
ReplyDeleteJulie, her mother and I just returned last evening from 4 days in the Sonoma County wine country. We saw quite a few people cruising around in flashy convertible sports cars.
I think that would be a great drive even without the corvettes, but they do add some fun, more so if you happen to be driving one.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a lovely relaxing time on your road trip. Thanks so much for dropping in over at my place, Kate!
ReplyDeleteNice. Looks like a grand mini road trip. I get antsy for those much too often.
ReplyDeleteThe red one look superb, perfect for a road trip. Its a torched plate?
