Feet-Theme Day, June 2009

I think that I like the black and white better than the colour. How about you?

As you can see by the title, today is the Theme Day for June. Click here to view thumbnails for all participants. Please keep in mind that time changes may affect when a blog appears. Check as many as you can to see the diversity and creativity among the bloggers!

PS. Check my Mazatlán blog, too. Even tho I'm now in Minnesota rather than there, I couldn't resist posting that photograph.

  1. Oh my goodness here is one colourful lady. Yes I like in B and W, Kate, but I like it in colour too. I always have difficulty in knowing myself which is best, so am not the one to ask. Now off to Mazatlan....

  2. On a photography level definitely the monochrome but blown away by the lilac hue of the boots. I would not have guessed that.

  3. Definitely black and white. I wouldn't have expected those colours at all!

  5. I think the B&W is the best. Looks like the little girl was out for some serious riding.

  6. Nice set of boots, whichever way!

  7. Purple feet meet bicycle feet! St. Paul feet greet Minnesota feet! Purple feet, boot feet and cowgirl feet! Riding on the street feet! Such a CDP FEET treat! Hi Kate Feet! EAGAN feet greet from my suburban street!

  8. I like the black and white too. I bought my grandson a pair of cowboy boots and he likes to wear them to pretend he's Woody on Toy Story.

  10. I also like the black and white, but I'm glad you showed us the color so we could see the purple boots. Cute!

  11. I like the feel of the B & W photo, but the color version also has an unexpected splash of color in the wheels.

  12. I love both pics -- I love the purple boots in the color pic. Would NEVER have guessed they were that color!

  13. These are wonderful. I would of said the B&W was wonderful but then I saw the color of the boots & that was that! This brightened up my day.

  15. Happy theme day Kate ... I agree the b&w photo is best ... and thanks for using your poetic skills to respond to leif hagen from Eagan DP. He has made quite an poetic effort on his comments today and I know my skills are not up to the task ... so I was very pleased to see you put your poetic talent toward the task of leaving a wonderful comment.

  16. Yes, I prefer the b&w one too. The colour one is nice but its very colourful! Great post for theme day.

  17. I'm going to disagree - I prefer the colour - there's much more of a story in the colour. The subject's age comes through clearer, the detail on the boots says something that's lost in B&W. Also, the colour is more joyful. And if that sounds as if I don't like the B&W, it's not meant to.

  24. In this case, I definitely like the color version better, because I love the color of her boots! Cool!

  25. The B&W version looks more appealing but the colors are vibrant. Both views are perfect for this theme!
