My Morning Walk

I haven't posted for a long while because I have been sick with a short hospital stay. I'm on the mend (I hope!), and I take a leisurely early morning walk now since I am feeling better. This leaf from a Ginkgo tree with the early morning dew still on it appealed to me. These walks lift my spirit and help my recuperation so I'll try to post more photos in the future from my neighborhood.

Welcome back, Kate. I was over at Lynette's place and saw your name there so clicked it and saw your Ginko leaf.

Life goes on in spite of setbacks and lord knows I have had a few of them lately.

    Anyway. Glad you are back.

  11. YAY Katie, so glad you are back, and on the road to recovery! I suspected it must have been serious and scary, to keep such a stalwart of the blogging community out of action for so long, so take it gently, and enjoy those theraputic walks. Isn't it amazing how simple beauty, like these droplets on a leaf, have such power to restore the soul?!

  17. Oh Kate, this has made my day. SO SO pleased to see you back. What a marvellous leaf to post. The ginkgo is such a beautiful tree - the only one in its species, I think - if that makes sense. You'd know. Anyway it's a very special tree - as you are a very special lady. You've been greatly missed, you know.

Again, so sorry you've been sick and hope you get properly well son - but this is the best news to see you posting again.
