Nature

I find this tree that is located on the banks of the Mississippi and heavily eroded by the water quite beautiful. It reminds me of another tree which is the banner used by Annie of Little Rock. Both trees survive despite being buffeted by other elements of nature. Humans, too, are often buffeted by elements that we cannot control, and how we survive sometimes is a miracle of nature.

I also wondered, I cliked on Kate, but thought I found Annie's tree! Amazing! I wonder how old these trees may be?

I thought it interesting that the roots are harboring something tiny beginning to grow. In green.

So beautiful, as is Annie's. What species of tree is this, Kate? Do take a photograph of the top of the tree. Or perhaps you already have?

If that tree could talk, imagine the stories it would tell! Beautiful shot Kate!

We have some beautiful trees like that here in the city park. Like Abraham, I noticed the little green plant poking up in that maze :)

Wonderful picture. It reminds me of a tree called baobab from Anotoine de Saint-Exupery's "The Little Prince".
Thank you for a great post.

Yes, I'd like to be like this tree: strong, rooted, and emotionally resilient, that's the goal anyway.
