Last Saturday about a dozen artists who live in Tangletown, a St. Paul neighborhood, opened their homes to interested buyers for a holiday art crawl. Paintings, ceramics, photographs, and jewelry were some of the items available for purchase. The most interesting collection of craftwork was a home filled with unusual Christmas, winter, and holiday wreaths. This wreath was on the front entrance door, beckoning buyers to enter and enjoy.

Nice idea!
ReplyDeleteA Christmas crawl... sounds like an evening I'd like to partake in. Now a combo art and pub crawl would be the best of both worlds. haha
ReplyDeleteGorgeous wreath.
ReplyDeleteI've not ever heard of such a thing, but I'll bet it was fun. I'd get all tangled up in all that art and probably would need to take out a loan when I got home!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea and I like that name too.
ReplyDeleteThe wreath is very welcoming. I love anything red!
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful door!
ReplyDeleteThe whole pic is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteSo festive!
ReplyDeleteA rather unusual wreath, but quite lovely too!
ReplyDeleteThere were a few Holiday craft shows here last weekend.
ReplyDeleteSounds like something I would enjoy. Love the door and the wreath..but this is when I could be accused of being OCD.....Why didn't they hang that wreath higher on the door?
ReplyDeleteThe wreath is a festive red! An "art crawl" sounds intriguing.
ReplyDeleteI like art crawls and I definitely like this wreath. The art museum in Hartford used to have tree and wreath decorating competitions after Thanksgiving, and one year I bought one of the wreaths. When I go back to West Hartford in nine days, I must go looking for it.
