Watching the guy climb the tree, pick out and saw the branches that needed removal, and then lower them down using ropes was like watching a well choreographed dance solo. And then we had another huge maple tree removed on my partners property, although that guy was able to use a crane. Last time we lived in Phoenix, we had a guy go high up in a palm tree with only a rope and shoes with spikes attached to trim it.Catalysthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03804837416104556928noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28981938.post-53086857027436435682017-04-24T09:48:47.945-05:002017-04-24T09:48:47.945-05:00My dad would always go out to watch something like...My dad would always go out to watch something like that.William Kendallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00331324250821836822noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28981938.post-75015087338103308772017-04-24T09:47:05.332-05:002017-04-24T09:47:05.332-05:00I'll be interested to see how this process wor...I'll be interested to see how this process works.Sharonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07645915869786296771noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28981938.post-60571285201110030702017-04-24T09:36:32.341-05:002017-04-24T09:36:32.341-05:00That is a massive job. The husband and kids wore no shirts or shoes. The wife stayed on the ground giving directions. They scrambled up in the trees like monkeys. Then when they got paid, they took off for the bingo parlor. I learned later that the husband fell out of a tree and was hospitalized. But he showed up after that at my door looking for work. :)Lowellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15305748075301453010noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28981938.post-64904831367997687482017-04-24T09:16:27.240-05:002017-04-24T09:16:27.240-05:00It is truly amazing how they safely take those hug...It is truly amazing how they safely take those huge trees from the top down. btw I loved The Zookeepers Wife.... what a brave couple they were in a horrendous time....troutbirderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14087811292280881959noreply@blogger.com
